When I was looking through Andrea’s blog I found quite a few tasty recipes.

The ones that really caught my eye were her s’mores cupcakes with homemade marshmallows and the white chocolate panna cotta with raspberry gelee.

Once I saw the recipe for homemade twix I thought that sounded like a fun idea. I have seen other homemade candy recipes floating around. Mounds, Butterfingers, Peanut Butter Cups, and Snickers are just a few.

But buttery crumbly cookie + homemade caramel + melted chocolate? Yes please.

The recipe is quick to put together and turns out looking very impressive. These cookies would make a thoughtful homemade Christmas present. And although Halloween has passed, keep these in mind for your parties next year!

The recipe is fabulous as is, but if you want to change things up a bit you could add some salt and vanilla to the crust. You could also add some salt to the caramel (it is really delicious!). [Read more...]
